Linguistic correction in the Arabic language between the ancients and the moderns
This study addresses the issue of linguistic correction among classical and modern linguists. The researcher sought to identify the methodological and epistemological criteria adopted by linguists in correcting erroneous usages and clarifying the features of linguistic correctness in their Arabic language. This was achieved through an examination of their works on the topic of grammatical errors.
The researcher also aimed to address the issue of grammatical errors and linguistic evolution from the perspective of modern linguistic studies. She examined this problematic, clarifying conceptual differences and epistemological premises, and comparing them with the views of classical Arabic grammatical thought on this linguistic matter. Furthermore, she clarified the position of the Arabic language on the issue of linguistic evolution in general, between scientific necessity and the principle of linguistic particularity.
